General Manager & Head of Environmental Division

  • Over 22 years of extensive experience in habitat studies, Environmental Studies, Ecological studies, soil characterization, remedial investigation/ feasibility study, remedial screening and Hazardous Waste Management.
  • International Experience in working with Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas sector projects, KOC HSEMS procedures, KNPC Environmental and Safety Procedures.
  • Prepared EIA and EMP reports for several highway projects and multi sector urban development projects covering water supply, sewerage and solid waste management projects funded by ADB and World Bank.
  • Familiar with GIS and Environmental modelling software.
  • Worked in Soil remediation and soil characterization and Hazardous Waste Management Project in Kuwait.
  • Completed OSHA 30 hr Construction and HAZWOPER Certifications.

  • Has 18 years of rich experience in Hydrological Research, Watershed Development, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Auditing and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Studies.
  • Conducted EIA studies for more than two dozen projects in urban infra structure development, highways, water supply, sanitation, building construction, townships etc.
  • Experience in hydrological processes and basin characteristics, hydrological and meteorological data collection and analysis and water balance studies.
  • Certified by OSHA in Occupational health and safety.
  • Worked as Environmental Safeguard Specialist for the ADB funded Project.
  • Environmental specialist in the team for Technical Evaluation of the for the project "P029C1 – Construction of Al Khufoos Street" by the State of Qatar.
  • Conducted compliance monitoring and Environmental Health and Safety Auditing at construction sites.
